Hello, I started to work on a short series of quilled butterflies, as a special order from a friend who also makes handmade objects and ornaments. The first two, are made from 1cm wide and 21 cm long strips of heavier cardstock. Four more to come! :)

Hello, Some time ago I found a paper napkin that perfectly resembled a Delft blue tile...it carried me back two years ago, when I visited this beautiful town...:) So, I transferred the napkin onto freezer paper to give it a bit more strength, and then started with the card design. Here's how the card turned out: To accentuate the flowers, I used some small quilled swirls to make the corners. Hello all, Christmas is getting closer and closer so I must hurry and make some new ornaments. A few days ago I found an interesting tutorial  here  and I tried it out. I made a five points 3D cardtok star, embellished with some quilled mistletoe and some golden paint. Since  this is the first time I make this ornament, I am submitting it to the Christmas ornaments contest from  Copilarim  (Postare inscrisa in concursul "Impodobim bradul"). This star is very easy to make so I am going to include it in one of my paper craft workshops from December. I hope the participants will like making it as much as I did...:)

Hello, Coffee anyone? It goes so well with pralines...Am I right? :) Well, this was the basic idea for a birthday present for a colleague from work...The cup of coffee was on a vintage card I made, and the pralines were in the form of a necklace made from Fimo clay by  Camelia Minisan . Hello, In weekend-ul trecut, la Muzeul Satului Banatean de la Padurea Verde din Timisoara, s-a desfasurat Festivalul Plai 2012  . Aproape in fiecare an am fost la Plai ca vizitatoare a diferitelor standuri ale asociatiilor culturale care participa la festival. Anul acesta, cu mare mare bucurie am participat ca voluntar impreuna cu Camarila Culturala . Tema noastra s-a numit "Simfonia melcilor" - un "omagiu" adus micului melc ce se misca atat de incet, dar are o casa atat de perfecta! (Poate urmarind micul melc invatam si noi sa reducem din cand in cand viteza cu care ne ducem vietile de zi cu zi...:)  ). Vizitatorii nostri au desenat si pictat pe pietre, am facut melci din hartie, cutiute de carton ornate cu melci desenati. Am avut si o mica expozitie cu poze cu fractali, desenele lui Razvan Gaita din seria "Melc urban", pietrele desenate ale Monicai Plesca, melcii mei quilling. Iata ce-a iesit! carti...
