Delft blue card / Flori in albastru de Delft

Hello, Some time ago I found a paper napkin that perfectly resembled a Delft blue tile...it carried me back two years ago, when I visited this beautiful town...:) So, I transferred the napkin onto freezer paper to give it a bit more strength, and then started with the card design. Here's how the card turned out: To accentuate the flowers, I used some small quilled swirls to make the corners. Card size: 13.5x13.5 cm Update -   Here's another variation of the same card:   Card size: 13x13 cm

Racoare.../ Cool water card

Hello everyone, This weekend was veeeery hot in Timisoara...so a pool with cool water would be very welcomed even by me...:)) (my friends know what I mean by "even by me") So, inspired by  Pritesh's  wonderful wall clock, I decided to use the same technique to make an asymmetrical, smaller structure which would be suitable for a card. Here are the two "cool water"  cards I made: Thees two are pretty abstract, so maybe they will make you think of something other then cool water...:) Tell me what you think!

Hello all, Recently I discovered a great card making blog, called  365 cards  which proposes daily a new theme for a card challenge. For yesterdays theme (just check out the link) I made this card: To make the little "forget me not" flowers, I used a borders flower stamp and then I cut them out. I hope you like it!

Felicitare aniversara nunta/ Wedding Anniversary card

Hello everyone, I've been asked to make a card for a wedding anniversary...:) 45 years of marriage ... wow! It is wonderful to see that there are still couples which really spend their whole lives together, and have the chance to celebrate this. Happy anniversary! :) We call the 45 years of marriage the Sapphire wedding, so the theme of the card is the color blue. Here's how it turned out:
