Hello all, Here's this year's collection of wooden eggs I made for my friends. Some are painted using the "one stroke" technique, some are done with the napkin technique and the last one is from another story...:))
Hello, Lately it seems I'm coming back to the first technique that brought me to the handmade world...decoupage. Here's a wall art piece finished yesterday: I used a paper napkin with an African theme, some coordinating acrylic paints, and to make it look really old, crackle lacquer and some stamps. To seal everything, I applied two coats of matt varnish. The wooden base is actually a shelf board.
Hello, Last week I finally got around to making my first experiments with decoupage on glass. I decorated a plate and a glass fitted with a copper frame. For the plate I used a paper napkin with lemons: For the framed glass I used a paper napkin with vintage roses. The decoupage technique is done in revers when working on glass, because we work on the back of the glass.
