hello, Here's a special order of mini tables for cupcakes, and navy blue little roses. The color theme was blue and white, so for the little tables I used blue cardstock and  with white acrylic pint I stenciled on a different pattern on each one. T  The roses are dye cut from a pearled sheet of navy blue paper. To brighten everything up, I used some half acrylic pearls.

Hello, Here are some new (at least for me...) paper flowers I created last week with a wedding bouquet in mind The first is a pink rose: then comes a ranunculus flower colored with COPICs: and the last one is a white and pink flower which I think needs to be named because I do not know if it exists in nature or not...:))

Hello, today I made my first paper flower with all the works...wire stem covered in flower tape, leaves and calyx. Being the first, I am quite happy with it...so I think I'll make a small bouquet. Here's how it turned out. Update: Here's another one - a somewhat peach colored English rose One more, and the bouquet is ready!

hello lume, acum 2 saptamani, in 20 iulie, Incubator 107 Timisoara a sarbatorit un an de existenta...La multi ani! :) Cum s-au intamplat lucrurile, asa cum stie cel mai bine Incubatorul...cu o zi intreaga de ateliere dintre cele mai diverse, muzica si dans. Evenimentul a avut loc la Muzeul satului banatean de la Padurea Verde. M-am bucurat foarte mult ca am putut sa iau si eu parte la sarbatoare cu un mic atelier de flori de hartie, care mie mi-a placut foarte mult...sper ca si participantii au fost la fel de multumiti de florile pe care le-am facut impreuna. Am facut garofite mai mari si mai mici din hartii pentru cupcake si pentru boane, flori din hartie de origami in tehnica teabag folding, flori din servetele de hartie pe care le-am colorat apoi cu cerneluri (va puteti imagina cum au aratat mainile noastre la terminarea atelierului...:))   ) Iata cateva fotografii facute de cei de la Incubator cu masuta la care am mesterit:  Fetita aceasta blonduta si foar...

Hello all, For today's post I prepared my latest wooden box project. Actually it is a special order for a friend. She asked for a box that would have on the lid the biggest possible red flower...very red in fact...:) So, I started by making the center flower from handmade paper. For the petals, I used the peony template from  Martha Stewart's website . The tough part was to obtain the bright red I needed...I started with am mate red acrylic paint which became orange when diluted with water...:D. So, after the petal dried, I colored them one by one, on both sides, with a red aquarelle pencil. After this new coat of paint dried again, I still hadn't  the red I wanted, so I applied one last coat of food dye. The making of this flower took me a week in total. I used punches for the rest of the flowers, so they were a lot easier to make. To color the cream and yellow ones I used chalks. Here are some photos with details of the box:  For the s...

Hello all, A few weeks ago I received the long awaited "Punch a bunch" paper punches (sooo happy about it)... Last week I finally found the time to try my hand at making a paper anemone from a book called Paper Bouquet by Susan Cockburn .  I had some other paper flowers already made for other projects, so I started thinking about arranging them to make a topper for a small gift box. After trying various combinations I finally decided for this one: Vintage...of course...:) !
