La invitatia  Let's Chocolate , am tinut ieri, un atelier caritabil care a facut parte din campania  100 de zambete-n DAR  . Ce-am facut? Ornamente din carton pentru pomul de Craciun. Taxa de participare a fost donata celor de la 100 de zambete-n dar. Propunerile mele au fost: un glob, o stea in 5 colturi si o coronita de fulgi de zapada. Iata si cateva poze din timpul atelierului: Fotografii: Horea Danciu Am taiat, am lipit, am dat cu sclipici si mai mult decat orice ne-am distrat...Cred ca acum fiecare abia asteapta sa agate in pom trei noi ormanemte pe care unii dintre participanti nu erau siguri la inceput ca le vor putea face...:) Dar n-a fost greu deloc, si nimeni n-a stricatnici o bucatica de carton! :) Pentru pregatirea atelierului mi-a fost de maaaare ajutor masinuta mea Big Shot si matritele de la Sizzix si Marianne Design. Hello, Some time ago I discovered this amazing site:  http://papermatrix.wordpress.com  that presents traditional Danish paper crafts. Since Christmas is not that far away now, I thought I'd try my hand at the easiest design of spheres:  http://papermatrix.wordpress.com/2011/02/19/sphere-001/ So I printed the template on colored cardstock and followed the instructions. I have to tell you... it is not at all easy to cut all the paper strips by hand, but the most difficult is weave them tight enough so sphere closes correctly in the end. Here's how my first bauble turned out (is is far from perfect, but it wasn't a complete disaster either): The next time, I shall try with thinner sheets of paper maybe...

Buna tuturor! In 21 decembrie, la libraria  Carturesti  de pe strada Mercy, din Timisoara, impreuna cu  Incubator 107 Timisoara  am facut braduti din hartie reciclata... mai exact din reviste, asa cum ati vazut intr-una dintre postarile mele anterioare. Participantii au avut o rabdare infinita...:)) si printre canile de ceai cald si amintirile pe care le-am depanat, au pliat revistele pagina cu pagina. Iata ce-a iesit: Dupa ce am teriminat bradutul, urmeaza ornatul...                                                                                   foto: Larisa Plesca Le multumesc tuturor ca au venit si sper sa ne mai intalnim la ateliere si anul viitor! Hi, this is a quick post to show you the newest additions to the Christmas ornaments collection from this year... two quilled snowflakes. You can use them as Christmas tree ornaments or as card toppers.

Hello, This will be a very quick post, just to show you the small Christmas tree I made from a magazine (the idea is not mine, I found the tutorial on the internet) The trick is to use a magazine with lots of pages, and to have a lot of patience...:) as you have to fold the magazine page by page. How it's done? First bring the top right corner of the page to the binding of the magazine. Then fold the page one more time to the binding. Fold like this all the pages. In the end, fold inwards the small corners that form at the bottom of each page. glue together the two covers of the magazine and you have your tree! It's that simple...:) After you finish it, you can add some glitter glue or fake snow or any other embellishment you like. Some of the pages from my tree are a little wrinkled because I had to take it to transport it in a bag...but you can get an idea about how it should look like.
