This card came to life from some leftover embellishments from previous projects and one of the pre-cut characters from Andrea Jayne's "Pampered pets" paper collection.
The burgundy heart and the frame are done with Sizzix die cuts. To create a very soft pastel background, chalks were the best choice (and of course this is a quick way to create custom backgrounds...).
