Hello all, Christmas is getting closer and closer so I must hurry and make some new ornaments. A few days ago I found an interesting tutorial  here  and I tried it out. I made a five points 3D cardtok star, embellished with some quilled mistletoe and some golden paint. Since  this is the first time I make this ornament, I am submitting it to the Christmas ornaments contest from  Copilarim  (Postare inscrisa in concursul "Impodobim bradul"). This star is very easy to make so I am going to include it in one of my paper craft workshops from December. I hope the participants will like making it as much as I did...:)

Anul acesta libraria  Carturesti  sarbatoreste 12 ani de existenta...12 ani de carti, ceai si o atmosfera grozava, asa cum n-am intalnit in alta librarie... Printre evenimentele care marcheaza aceasta aniversare, s-a numarat si atelierul de paper crafts organizat de Carturesti Timisoara impreuna cu  Incubator 107 Timisoara , pe care am fost invitata sa-l tin in 22 noiembrie. Tema atelierului a fost realizarea unei felicitari de Craciun in tehnica iris folding. Ce ste iris folding? Ei bine, este un mod de a folosi fasii de hartie indoita pentru a umple o apertura facuta intr-o bucata de carton, urmarind un sablon. Pare complicat? Nu e complicat chiar deloc, insa e nevoie de rabdare...:) Iata cateva poze de la atelier : Chiar daca lumea pare foarte concentrata, sa stiti sa ne-am distrat si am avut timp sa bem un ceai si sa mai povestim cate un pic. Iata si unul dintre globuri... dupa atata taiat si lipit, in sfarsit vedem rezultatul...Acest glob e...

Hello, This weekend, inspired by a new chocolate shop called "Let's chocolate", that opened in Timisoara, as a good luck charm, I created this vintage card for the owner... Did I mention that the chocolate is brought from France? Ad that it is delicious? :) Well... good luck  Let's Chocolate ...:) For this card I used scrapbook paper from  Stamperia , and a clear stamp for the inner border. Card size: 14x14 cm

Hello, A few weeks ago, I was asked to make another  ballerina  card. This is a cute card and it's fun to make, but still, I wanted it to be a little different from the previous one... Hello, Coffee anyone? It goes so well with pralines...Am I right? :) Well, this was the basic idea for a birthday present for a colleague from work...The cup of coffee was on a vintage card I made, and the pralines were in the form of a necklace made from Fimo clay by  Camelia Minisan . Hi, A few weeks ago, a friend of mine and high school colleague asked me to make a very elegant, masculine card. It wasn't easy to figure out what to do, but in the end, I started from the recipient's  great passion for cars. Here's how it looks like (unfortunately, the picture does not reflect very well the colors, but you will get the general idea). The car comes from a decoupage sheet from  Stamperia . Hi, Here's a new card I made using a "strawberry girl" digi stamp I found online (I'm sorry I can't find the link anymore...), COPIC markers and some quilled scrolls. This is a very pink card I made for the birthday of a little girl, which I am very found of. I can't wait to see her face when she sees it...:) Card size: 10x15 cm

Hi, After the "Autumn leaves" card, it's time to go back to the preparations for Christmas. For today's card I finally used one of the 3D card sheets I bought last year from Holland. The 3D embellishment was meant to be mounted on a stitched piece of cardstock, but I used it in a different design. I shall try to make the original design too, and then you can choose which of the two you like best. This is the first card of a special order of around 15 cards for a good friend... I think I will make 3 different designs, so I will have five of each...We'll see how it goes and which she likes best. Card size: 13x13 cm

Zilele acestea am participat la un concurs de felicitari organizat de  Provocari Verzi  (multumesc mult Rux pentru invitatie ! :)...). Tema concursului a fost frunzele toamnei, asa ca am  folosit frunzre adevarate si buretei impregnati cu tus pentru stampile, cu care am creat frunze de carton...Apoi am adaugat flori si frunze preaste si iata ce-a iesit: Castigatorii s-au desemnat prin tragere la sorti si de data aceasta nu m-am numarat printre ei... data viitoare poate voi avea mai mult noroc...:). Ceea ce insa mi s-a parut grozav, este ca dupa desemnarea castigatorului,  s-au format perechi dintre participanti, iar acum ne vom trimite unii alrora felicitarile prin posta! Ideea asta imi place foarte mult. Abia astept sa primesc adresa destinatarei si sa trimit felicitarea! Si desigur abia astept s-o primesc pe cea destinata mie. Dimensiuni felicitare: A5.
